Trash the Dress photography, rock the frock photography, after wedding photography or what I prefer to call cherish the dress photography has gained popularity over the last few eyars with brides deciding to do something unique with their wedding dress rather than let it sit hidden in the wardrobe. If you store it away it's already forgotten. I was thrilled when I found out that Reni is eager to do something different with her wedding dress.
Emo and Reni are a beautiful young couple who married last year. They live outside of London, but for their wedding anniversary Reni eagerly embraced the idea of Trash the dress wedding photography session where she put on her wedding dress again and did something unique with it. Well, the dress stayed very much intact and beautiful but the results were some beautiful creative wedding photography of her and Emo. I loved their enthusiasm despite the drizzling rain of London and the cold wind. We started at Westminster bridge and walked on the south side for some shots with the Parliament in the background and then moved to take some more photos in front of the London Eye. We certainly had a lot of enthusiastic crowd around cheering the 'newly wedded couple'. We finished with some photos at Charing Cross bridge where I left Emo & Reni to enjoy some time on their own. They had fun in recreating their first wedding dance in the middle of the bridge while enjoying the views of the Parliament, London Eye and St. Paul's cathedral. What better present to yourself than such romantic moments on your anniversary?

Artistic After Wedding Photography in Central London UK

Trash the Dress photography, rock the frock photography, after wedding photography or what I prefer to call cherish the dress photography has gained popularity over the last few years with brides deciding to do something unique with their wedding dress rather than let it sit hidden in the wardrobe. If you store it it’s already forgotten. No memories anymore. In wedding photography « Trash the Dress » is on the opposite end – it creates vivid memories, it is romantic, beautiful, glamorous… it is fine-art. For me Trash the Dress name however is not a representative description as we will certainly not destroy the dress. I prefer to refer to what I offer as a session of Creative wedding photography. I often offer a more creative photo session to the couple on the day after their wedding, but recently it’s been quite popular to do such photography on the couple’s wedding anniversary. The session offers unique opportunity for the bride to wear her gown again, but this time in a less stressful atmosphere.
Carolyn and Tim were very enthusiastic to brave the cold November weather and even braver to face the curious crowd that continuously surrounded us in Central London. We started just as the sun was disappearing and the sky in Trafalgar sq was still beautiful dark blue. It turned out that some of the theaters didn't work on Sundays and we couldn't utilise their beautiful lights as I have planned, but we found a close alternative in front of a hotel near Covent Garden. It was an unexpected good fortune to have found this bar in Covent garden which had this amazing red wall.

Trash the dress Wedding Photography London Docklands

Trash the Dress photography, rock the frock photography, after wedding photography or what I prefer to call cherish the dress photography has gained popularity over the last few years with brides. The session offers unique opportunity for the bride to wear her gown again, but this time in a less stressful atmosphere. That's why I really like the term I once heard 'trash the stress' wedding photography. Without the stress of the wedding day, the creative after wedding photography of trash the dress photo session allow for plenty of time for set-ups, different lighting scenarios, posing experiments, creativity and fun. As this session is fully dedicated to the couple it allows for some beautiful and creative images with a touch of romance to be captured. As the couple is also much more relaxed without the pressure of the guests waiting for them, I get their full attention and the results are always very rewarding. I usually encourage the couple to choose a place that they like, or a beautiful landmark of the city, or maybe a romantic place that has some significance to them. For the after wedding photography session I had with Ed and Lucy we decided to go for something different, not the obvious landmarks of London like the Parliament or Westminster Abbey or London Eye. So we have decided to do our after wedding photography session in the Docklands in London. We certainly got a lot of attention with all the equipment we carried, especially from the security people, but they showed some understanding when they saw the wedding dress. :) Well, I didn't utilise so much the skysrapers as I did in NY Time Square, but I think the light on the bridge was lovely for a more glamour fashion style of trash the dress photography. We aimed to do something different from the classical wedding photography photos and I believe it resulted in some beautiful after wedding photography in London.
