Destination Wedding Photography in Castello di Vincigliata Florence, Tuscany, Italy

The wedding of Masha and Enrico was the destination wedding photography in Florence Italy that I have been looking forward to for a long time. Back in April I visited Florence to meet with a few Italian wedding planners in Florence and also took the opportunity to visit the wedding venue of Castello di Vincigliata Florence (http://www.castellodivincigliata.it/), which was a few minutes drive from Florence on a hill and had amazing views over Florence.
The wedding in Florence was one of the few destination wedding photography jobs I had in Italy this year. The Italian wedding planner who organised the magnificent wedding of Masha and Enrico was Monica Balli (www.monicaballi.com) who has an extensive experience in organising destination weddings in Florance, Tuscany and all over Italy for couples from around the world.
The celebration of Masha and Enrico started with a cockatail reception the night before the wedding at a hotel in Florence next to Ponte Vecchio which provided magnficent view of the centre of Florence. The wedding day was hot but the ceremony was inside Castello di Vincigliata which provided shelter from the Florence sun in August. The dinner and reception were outstanding with lovely decorations of sun-flowers. The party went on till late with a grand finale of fire-works display for which Castello di Vincigliata provided a perfect back-ground setting. It's certainly a perfect venue for a destination wedding in Florence and Tuscany which provides abundant opportunities for wedding photography.

Destination Wedding Photography in Umbria, Italy

I was delighted to shoot Eva & Emanuele wedding in Umbria. I originally met Eva & Emanuele in Marrakesh, Morocco when I was photographing the destination wedding in Marrakech of their Italian friends. Eva & Emanule liked my unobtrusive wedding photography approach and my wedding photography style so on one of their trips to London from Milan they called me and asked me to photograph their wedding in Umbria.
Eva was very natural and very beautiful and I was delighted that she was ready before her bridesmaids and mom were ready which allowed us to do an unexpected but lovely Boudoir Wedding Photography session which was hopefully a nice surprise for Emanuele.
The wedding was most delightful, the food amazing and the venue of the wedding party a delight to photography as it was a private village with a number of old houses which was thoroughly restored by Emanuele's father. It made me dream to own one of those houses in Umbria and relocate to be a permanent wedding photographer in Tuscany and Umbria instead of a destination wedding photographer from London.
The weekend before their wedding I had another destination wedding photography job in Florence, Italy so I to combine the two destination weddings with a few days in between which I use for some sightseeing in St. Gimigniano and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. I hope next year I have the opportunity to do some destination wedding photography in those picturesque villages in Tuscany and Umbria.
